Paver Installation by Elite Mix Concrete & Masonry in Nassau County, NY

Pavers give you the look of natural stone or brick with the strength to handle Long Island weather year after year. We install interlocking pavers, bluestone, and Belgian block for driveways, patios, walkways, pool decks, and more.

Paver Driveways

A paver driveway is one of the best upgrades you can make to your property. It looks better than plain concrete or asphalt, and individual pavers can be replaced if one cracks. We excavate, lay a compacted gravel base, add bedding sand, and set each paver by hand. The result is a level, locked-in surface that handles heavy vehicles without shifting.

Paver Patios and Walkways

Backyard patios, side-yard walkways, pool surrounds, and front paths. We work with you on the layout and pattern, then build it to drain properly so water never pools against your foundation. Curved designs, borders, inlays: whatever fits your space.

Bluestone

Bluestone patios and walkways are a classic choice on Long Island. The natural blue-grey color fits almost any home style. We set bluestone on a mortar bed or dry-laid depending on your preference and budget.

Belgian Block

Belgian block borders and edging give driveways and walkways a finished, upscale look. We set them tight with proper mortar joints so they stay put.

FAQ

Paver Installation, common questions

How long do pavers last?

Quality pavers last 25 to 50 years with proper base preparation. Individual pavers can be swapped out if they crack, which makes repair simple.

Will pavers shift or settle over time?

Not if the base is done right. We excavate to the proper depth, compact the gravel in layers, and use polymeric sand in the joints to lock everything in place.

What is the difference between pavers and stamped concrete?

Pavers are individual units set on a gravel base. Stamped concrete is a single poured slab with a pattern pressed into it. Pavers are easier to repair, stamped concrete is typically less expensive.
